Audrey Temelini, Dipl. Ac., has been practicing in the Charleston area since 2003. For many years, she has enjoyed a special relationship with both fertility clinics in town and has accompanied countless women on their journeys to motherhood. Being so familiar with fertility protocols and pharmaceuticals, Audrey is able to use her knowledge of Chinese Medicine as the perfect compliment to ART to ensure maximum success rates. She has also helped many women become pregnant with acupuncture and herbs alone for those who want to pursue a more natural route.
Ms. Temelini treats an entire range of ailments including pain, stress, digestive disorders, allergies, insomnia, cancer support and women's health issues such as menopause, endometriosis and fertility challenges.
Audrey Temelini is a Diplomate of Acupuncture and Chinese Herbology. She attended one of the finest acupuncture schools in the country, Emperor’s College of Traditional Oriental Medicine in Santa Monica, California. This comprehensive four year program included rigorous academic studies in both traditional oriental medicine and conventional western medicine.
She completed over a thousand hours of clinical study which included inpatient hospital training at Daniel Freeman Hospital in Marina Del Ray, California and the L.A. Free Clinic. In her hospital work, Temelini spent six months in an integrated medical setting working with Medical Doctors and nurses treating a wide variety of illnesses in the transitional rehabilitation, addiction, and psychiatric wards.
Her work in the Community Clinic was just as rewarding and busy, treating hundreds of patients with conditions from the acute common cold to the most serious stages of cancer. As Temelini completed her clinic and hospital work she and her husband, and their newborn, decided to move to Charleston, bringing with them this amazing system of medicine. Audrey Temelini is National Board Certified (NCCAOM) in Acupuncture and Herbology and holds licenses in California, Rhode Island, and South Carolina.
